Footvolley competitors will be kicking up the sands on Hollywood Beach this weekend. The 2012 Pro Footvolley Tour Hollywood Beach Open is a free event celebrating the Brazilian sport that combines beach volleyball and soccer.
The games begin at 11:00 a.m. Saturday and Sunday and spectators can watch from bleachers at Johnson Street. Saturday’s final match will be the mixed-doubles challenge at 3:00 p.m. The tournament concludes Sunday at 4:30 p.m. with the Men’s Pro Championship.
