5K Run/Walk to educate the community about the hunger issue in South Florida and the organization’s goals.

Hollywood Beach Broadwalk – At the Hollywood Beach Theater on Johnson St.
Location & Time – Registration is at 6 a.m. and the run begins at 7:30 a.m.
Advance registration costs $25, and on race day it will cost $35.
“Ninety-eight cents of every dollar will go toward providing food to help those in need,” said Anthea Penant, Feeding South Florida’s director of external affairs. “Every dollar that is donated to Feeding South Florida, we can provide seven pounds of food and grocery products.”
Feeding South Florida, works with donations, food collections and other charitable sources to help supply 800 food banks, soup kitchens and assisted living facilities from Palm Beach to Monroe counties.
