Being one of the Fishing Capitals of the world (or at least close to Islamorada), you would think that South Florida would be a prime place to find many options for a quality seafood buffet. Not to mention a search for possibly the best seafood buffet. But unfortunately that is not quite the reality.
There are a few Seafood Buffets in South Florida however and if you are in the Hollywood area you can easily check out Kamado’s Japanese Seafood Buffet. Kamado’s is in west Hollywood by University Drive and Sheridan, so you will definitely need transportation if you are staying in a resort location (like the beach or downtown areas). But if you can make it out there, the reviews on yelp have been mixed but on the good side. It is an all-you-can-eat Chinese/Japanese style buffet to take that to heart before you go.
If you are looking for something a bit more “upscale” and convenient (if you are on Hollywood Beach), Latitudes Tiki Bar at the Marriott on Hollywood Beach has a Friday Seafood Buffet. The restaurant is home to celebrity Chef Ron Duprat who brought the seafood buffet back on Friday nights last summer.
