Cheapoair.com has a little travel blog going on their website. Last week they listed Hollywood Beach as one of their “Can’t-Miss Miami Beaches“.
They list a couple of other local South Florida beach destinations, but for Hollywood they indicate (appropriately) the full family fun:
There are no nudists here, but you’ll find a little bit of everything, making it a great beach for everyone. You’ll often find some of the classic beach activities happening up and down the beach, including volleyball and Frisbee. Take a break from the sand and enjoy walking the two-mile boardwalk.
Since the previous beach they mention is Haulover, they have to provide the disclaimer of “no nudity on Hollywood Beach”. And as is fairly common, they list the BROADwalk as a boardwalk. But anyone who has been to Hollywood, FL knows that there are no boards on the broadwalk. It is created with smooth walking pavers for all sorts of activities.
