Hollywood Artspark Amphitheater Grand Opening Weekend

A Big kick start to Summer 2011, this weekend at the Hollywood Artspark at Young Circle new outdoor amphitheater.

Experience two chart topping groups Exposé and En Vogue during the weekend of FREE CONCERTS June 3 & 4.

En Vogue performs at 8pm June 4.

On Friday June 3, there will be a super Funtasctic Friday at 5:00 with lots to do for all of the kids including face painting, bounce house, arts & crafts and more.

The official ribbon cutting ceremony starts at 7pm. Entertainment will be provided by the Royal Caribbean Performers, The South Broward High School Marching Band & Glee Club and Dancers from Ohana Hawaiian Arts. And of course Expose headlining at 8:00pm. Exposé. originally from South Florida, topped the charts in the 1980’s with smash hits like, Seasons Change, Point of No Return and Let Me Be The One.

Also on June 3 from 5-8pm you can Meet and Greet with the Hollywood Greyhound Adoptions.
Meet the Greyhounds in Artspark as we join in the Amphitheater Grand Opening Celebration and Funtastic Friday.
All Greyhounds are invited to join us! Parents: please wear a Hollydogs tee! Bring a blanket and water to keep your greyhound cool.

En Vogue at Hollywood Artspark AmphitheaterAnd don’t forget to bring the family back for a second night of outdoor fun under the stars with super group En Vogue live in concert.

Formed in 1989, En Vogue topped the charts in the 1990’s. The group has won more MTV Video Music Awards than any other female group in MTV history, a total of seven, along with four Soul Train Awards, six American Music Awards, and seven Grammy nominations. According to Billboard Magazine they were the 18th most successful act of the 1990s, and one of the most popular and successful female groups of all time.

Downtown Hollywood & Artspark Parking Information

The Hollywood Community Redevelopment Agency will provide a free ArtsPark/Downtown Events shuttle to and from the City’s two downtown parking garages located at 19th Avenue and Van Buren and 20th Avenue and Tyler on June 3 and 4. 
$5 special event parking is available in both garages starting at 5:00 p.m.  Additionally, the Hollywood Trolley will be in operation connecting Hollywood Beach to stops throughout downtown Hollywood for $1 per ride.  Metered on street parking is $1 per hour.  Valet parking is available in the ArtsPark drive-up lane by Vizcaya Valet.
